It’s New Years Eve 2015. What a year it has been! I haven’t written a blog post since October so I thought I’d round 2015 off by explaining, briefly, why.

In November I got sick, mentally and physically. It seemed my entire life turned upside down and the last thing I wanted to do was share happiness, health, yoga or fitness. I wanted to curl up and hope the world wouldn’t notice me. I had to take about 4 weeks off from practicing any kind of physical exercise, including yoga. So the one thing that would usually make me feel better was the one thing I wasn’t allowed to do!

At the start of December I started practicing again, not quite to the same intensity but practice nonetheless. I felt happy again but not healthy. Then Christmas came out of what seemed like nowhere and now I find myself, the day before 2016 begins, sitting on my sofa feeling excited about all the possibilities 2016 holds.

Instead of mourning 2015 I’m welcoming the changes of 2016. More health, more happiness and definitely more yoga.
