As I write this I’m sat poolside, somewhere just north of St Tropez, in a private chateau in the middle of nowhere. It sound idyllic, and it is. There is no phone signal so no one can call me, no passing traffic and the only noises that can be heard are from the territorial crickets and the occasional clinking of ice again glass.
I have such a structured routine back home; work, yoga, workouts, that it’s nice (and necessary) to grab as much time as possible to just switch off and disconnect from the world in order to connect back to yourself.
So I plan to spend the next few days practicing yoga in the early morning sun, sitting out by the pool guzzling back the coldest lemon water I can find and reading as many books as possible.
I hope the sun is shining for you, wherever you are, and you’re making time to switch off.
