Try this really really simple trick to help you deepen your practice.
During your 10 sun salutations simply close your eyes for at least one of them. I know it’s frowned up (strictly forbidden!) to close your eyes during practice. This is because if you close your eyes your mind is likely to drift or lose focus. However this is just a one off challenge to see how you truly move during asanas.
I have just tried this as instructed by my teacher. I tried it on Surya Namaskara B (Sun Salutation B) and what happen really quite surprised me. I started to wobble through the movements and this lead me to move through the postures slower. I really felt and understood my movements a lot more. It’s taught me to slow down!
This is the easiest and simplest way to understand, improve and change your yoga practice. Try it just once!
